Price Protection Plans
Winthrop Fuel offers price protection programs to its customers and prospective customers throughout the year for the following heating season (deliveries begin July 1, 2010 and end May 31, 2011). Below are the general details of Winthrop Fuel's two price protection programs. Please contact us for further details.

Plan 1 - Fixed Prepay with the option of downside protection
Pay for your oil for the entire heating season at a fixed price.
Downside Protection is available.
Write a single check for the heating season and have piece of mind.
Automatic delivery is included.
Oil deliveries in excess of the pre-paid amount will be billed at the market price at the time of delivery.
Price is fixed no matter if market price increases or decreases
If your account has a credit balance at the end of the season, the credit will be forwarded to next year.

Plan 2 - Budget Cap Plan
PRE-PAYMENT IS NOT NECESSARY
Pay 12 monthly even payments.
You will never pay more than the Capped Price, but will pay Winthrop Fuel’s cash price if lower on the day of delivery.
Automatic delivery is included.
Each month payments are due by the 15th.
If one payment is missed, your account may be changed to a 28-Day Account subject to late charges.
If your account has a credit balance at the end of the season, the credit will be forwarded to the next year. If your account has a balance due, payment is due at the end of the 12 months.
