Winthrop Fuel Co., Inc. is strongly committed to supporting a variety of group non profit charities and community projects in the area by making donations of various kinds, including financial, as well as supporting our employee's volunteer time. For over fifty years we have given numerous hours to emergency fire response and fire safety, allowing our employees to remain active as volunteer fire fighters at all times when necessary.

Congratulations to the Winthrop Ramblers and Maranacook Black Bears Boys basketball teams on their successful Maine State Championship 2007-2008 seasons.
